Terms of Service — MusicX

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using MusicX ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

MusicX is a private cloud music and video player for iOS and Android devices.

The App allows users to organize, manage, and play media files that they own or have legal rights to access, from local storage and supported cloud or self-hosted sources.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MusicX.

If you are under the age required by your local laws, you may only use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. User Content and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you access, import, store, or play using MusicX.

You agree that:

• You own or have the legal rights to use any media files, links, or content you manage with the App.
• You will not use MusicX to access, store, or distribute content in violation of applicable copyright or other laws.

MusicX does not monitor, review, or control user content.

5. Third-Party Services

MusicX may optionally integrate with third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Last.fm (for scrobbling and music history)
• Cloud or self-hosted storage providers (e.g., WebDAV, SMB)

Your use of any third-party service is subject to that service's own terms and privacy policies.

MusicX is not responsible for the availability, behavior, or content of third-party services.

6. Built-in Browser and Imports

MusicX may include a built-in browser or link detection features.

All import or save actions are user-initiated.

MusicX does not modify third-party websites and does not automatically download or save content without your explicit action.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is handled when you use MusicX.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The MusicX name, logo, app design, and software are owned by the developer of MusicX and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App except as permitted by law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
• The accuracy or reliability of any content
• Compatibility with all devices or services

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MusicX and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Your use of MusicX is at your own risk.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to MusicX at any time if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above.

Continued use of MusicX after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
